Wall Street Retail Mall Development

HVAC equipment and systems, including air cooled heat recovery chillers, gas boilers and pumps

Atmos were pleased to be awarded the mechanical services for this high profile Dunedin City Council development, working with main contractor Naylor Love.

The original $2million services contract was completed in early 2009 and included a range of HVAC equipment and systems, air cooled heat recovery chillers, gas boilers, reticulated heating and chilled water pipe services, VRV air conditioning systems and all associated electrical wiring and controls, including a complete digital building management system (BMS).

Situated in the busy retail heart of Dunedin this was a logistically demanding project which was built within a tight timeframe and to a high standard.

Following completion of the base building construction, Atmos were please to carry our much of the services work for the individual retail tenancy fit outs, and for the relocation of Fisher Paykel's engineering research and call centers into the upper levels.

The latter included a range of additional HVAC systems to cope with additional internal heat gains and ventilation requirements.

When next you wander through the Wall Street shopping mall, cast you eye over the stainless steel displacement ventilation outlets located on the structural columns. These are an attractive and unobtrusive method of supplying conditioned air into the building, and are a credit to the designers.
